Located in the picturesque beach community of Port Hood, the Al MacInnis Sports Centre is the focal point of organized youth hockey serving hundreds of young athletes across the west side of Nova Scotia’s Cape Breton Island.
The Al MacInnis Sports Centre’s goal is to ensure children can play and have fun in a first rate and secure environment with a focus on teamwork and skill development, which allow us to compete on the Provincial and National stage.
Named after the local hockey sports legend, the Al MacInnis Sports Centre provides the community of Port Hood and surrounding areas with safe and secure facilities to nurture the development of athletic skills while playing host to an array of community cultural celebrations.
